I'm 6' also & I'm on an older pair of Volkl P40s in a 183 or 4. Back in the day, I rocked a pair of K2 CVC or SLCs in a 190 and 195...

I have a pair of Volant Machete's that are 175's. They are pretty narrrow skis so they are going to be my groomed ski, which is cool and all. I'm getting a pair of Volkl Karma's, and I was thinking I am going to get 169's as opposed to 177's, since they are kind of a park ski at all. I'm not much of a freestyle skier, but I wanted to get into it a bit, so I figured that would be a good size to ski everything: park, groomed and powder. Oh, and I'm 5'11". Any input?

Shorter ski is going to make it easier to move in the park for spins and such.

watever you do dont go any longer than 179 for a park ski. thats the absolute max. anything more and it makes it tough to throw around. if you get the karmas you will love them. although they are a little wide for pure park, they are amazing skis. im skiing a pair in 185. money in the bank

Wouldn't it be money out of the bank with those new skis and bindings you just had to pay for

I'm still "rocking" a pair of 195 Dynastars.
