everyone does it differently. The only thing i see fit to add, is as you land, suck up your legs a little, and stomp down as you hit the ground, punching your fists downward. This centers your weight over your feet, and you have less of a chance of going backeseat.

As others have said, carving throws a cleaner 3, but not nessecarily an easier one for a beginner to learn. Also, dont listen to any of us on here over yourself. if you figure out a way thats easier for you to throw it, do it that way. we're just giving suggestions as to ways to try.

It sounds so easy when you guys all explain it. I can't even do a damn 180, maybe I'll focus on the kinda stuff a littel more this season. Nice pic Teague. That'll be me by the end of the season.

Commit to it, and dont picture yourself eating snow. Just picture yourself pinning it like a shredmaster.

Turn your head the direction you want to spin and your body will follow.... just like on a bike. Carving the lip in the direction you want to spin will also get you going once you're in the air.

The goal this season is to try and get a full spin landed.

Unfortunately for me I know most of my problem is mental, as in "I've got to go to work tommorrow and if I mess this up..."

It stems from a bad mtb crash 4 years ago which gave me 12 months of rehab before I could do any sport at all.

Time to "feel the force" this year.

Try to get some 180 hops down first, that'll give you a bit of a feel for spinning. Not that I can do them very well but it's fun and you won't hurt falling from them....
