Here is a pic of my old worn out equipment. Volkl V Parks with Marker 1400 free bindings.

I love the skis but they are shot. The core has no spring left and the tails are blown out. The bindings just suck and have from day one, but I will not turn down free bindings.





Here is what the blown tails look like, I repaired them once but they are beyond repair now.

I have already glued them twice with the proper base adhesive. The only way to fix them now is to cut about 6" of the base out and glue a new piece in. It is just not worth the trouble. If I still worked in a tune shop and had time to kill that would be a different story.
