I think that the Colorado "SNOTEL" season runs from Oct 1 -> Sep 30. So I'd go with that.

Well I just finished three days of skiing up at A-Basin. Conditions were great, firm in the morning then soft at the end of the day. We never skied later than 1:30, at 4:00 the conditions would have been horrible. We could not have asked for better weather nice warm temps. It was 64 according to the car when we pulled out of the parking lot today. The pond skimming was a blast.
