Yesterday was day 17 total, 2nd day at Jackson Hole, finally headed up the new Tram. First song I heard: "Mountain Song" by Jane's Addiction, freaking perfect. Super windy and crusty way up top, giving way to soft, glass-smooth snow in the lower part of the upper bowl. Then below that, ridiculous tree runs with super sweet powder, lap after lap.

Today, Jackson Hole again for day 18 and 8" of fresh snow. Bottomless turns in the trees all day, fresh tracks down South Hoback, and crazy giggles all day. My Traveling Companion™ demo'd some sick skis today (Volkl Kiku's) and loved them - rocked tons of turns off the gondola as well, just basically one of those days that go down as "epic".

Tomorrow is the last day we're here, I'll check in with you guys tomorrow, but let me just say this: come Monday I am gonna be one sad panda having to return to this thing they call "work" and NOT ride everyday. The only thought that keeps me sane is knowing I STILL have 5 times the number of days as SkaredShtls, even WITH a full-time job!

Day 8 yesterday. Again at the Basin. Warm weather and shining snow the beginning of the week softened snow but yesterday being overcast left it quite hard and flat light. A bit of a challenge to say the least. Found a few good pockets of snow but for the most part it was day best suited for high speed laps on the groomers.

Days 4 & 5 Saturday and Sunday. Two dedicated days skiing with the liddle guys. Luckily the liddle guys like skiing blue/black bump runs.

whale...if you leave the snowgun blowing on one spot for a long time you end up with a big pile of snow that can look like a beached whale

13. Just got back from 3 days at Bohemia. Each day was better than the one before. On the last night, they were expecting 6+ inches of fresh so the plan was to catch the first chair, but my buddies didn't want to stop drinking and stayed at the bar until they closed it on 'em and made 'em leave, so I was a little worried about getting to the hill when it opened but it all worked out. We didn't catch the first chair, but we were at least there when they opened so we got plenty of pow pow. We timed it right to catch the rope drop in the Bears Den and got first tracks through there and got to pop Goldilocks' cherry. She isn't on the map, but man is she sweet
