Jay

I have never been to Jay Peak.
They are at 324 inches for the season.
They are THE place for glades, & I love the glades.
A cute snowbunny asked me to go with her to Jay for this w/e.

I can't wait! woo hoo!

oh, and for the bad news....she's married ( but he's not going! )

Maybe you could post up some pics of her face shots when you return.

I have a friend who went last week. Said it was as good as being out West and he spends 3 weeks or so a year out there.

Steamboat is THE place for glades.

jay should be much better this weekend than it has been lately. beware of some real nice hardpack(basically ice) underneath the fresh snow.

and to be honest with you, the massive base that most places have in northern vermont is kind of annoying. while most rocks/stumps are covered (key word is most), the snowpack puts the lowest level of branches that the resort didn't trim right at head height.

Massive base? I saw Jay was reporting 24-48 inches of base.

Is that massive in the East?
