Anyone ride with Body Armor?

I wanted to know if anyone rides with any sort of chest protector.
I know people use wrist guards a lot and even padded under shorts.
I was looking at some of the light weight 661 upper body protection

Back when I use to race boardercross I had a pair of azzpads (or something like that). But I barely wore them because of the bulkyness and how uncomfortable they were.

I knew a couple guys who wore the chest protectors but only really when they raced.

I run knee and elbow pads, Skeletools padded shorts, and a helmet all the time.
I add shinguards if I am planning to ride rails.
I use my Camelbak as a hydration source and it doubles as a form of back protection too.

I don't wear it for skiing but for the dirtbike I wear a Thor under jersey chest protector that has full spine protection and shoulder plates. Very comfortable and breathable.

wow you guys are silly, pads aren't going to help. i mean when you fall do you put your elbows out to break your landing or what?! haha. and shin guards haha. i couldn't imagine myself wearing any pads cuz they're not gonna do much and they would be very uncomfortable. just stick with a lit for the brain and your good.

Thing is I suck.

I fall a lot and most of the time I am riding on hardpack/ice oh, and I am 37 years old.

The kneepads are an absolute necessity for me, even if only for just a little more padding when I drop to my knees while waiting for a friend.

The elbow pads don't see much use, but they saw some action on my last Bohemia trip. I hit a stump hidden under the snow and went flying. I hit a tree with my elbow and the end result was the tree was missing some moss and bark and my jacket was a bit dirtied up, but the elbow was just fine.

YMMV.

When your racing boardercross and fall theres a high chance the guy behind will slam into you..

Trust man, having a spine protecter helps soften the impact of a board to your back.

i have thought about a spine protector a few times. lately i seem to have developed the habit of falling when bombing groomers and it results in me tomahawking down the mountain. then again, these falls have only happened on the crail which i have decided to sell so i have more beer money.
