I don't know. Then I'd still be skiing on the straight bump skis I bought in '95.

I have some REI One gloves. I like them because my hands don't sweat when I'm wearing them, so they stay relatively warm all day. With most other gloves I sweat a ton during the first hour or so, and then my hands are cold for the rest of the day.

I'm on my second pair after a guy we caught going through our car at Vail, gave me back the money he took out of my wallet, and then took my gloves off the top of the car while I wasn't looking. Bastard.

I had no idea how expensive real gloves were. My hands ALWAYS freeze when I go skiing and being a beginner, I figured it was just one of those things. So this year I started looking at good ones, amazed that you can easily drop between $70 and $120 on a pair of gloves. But I guess you just have to know where to shop, because I managed to get a nice pair of Columbia gloves dirt cheap. They are titanium, with a fleece liner and then they have a seperate fleece insert to them. And I also found a really sweet pair of ski pants, reatil at $140 for $13. So excited. Can't wait to hit the slopes. Now if it would only snow!

Are you saying the gloves have titanium in them or is that what they are called?
