Are you saying the gloves have titanium in them or is that what they are called?

I quit spending real money on ski gloves years ago when i started patrolling a being out in all conditions every day of the winter (well, almost every day). Look around on any ski hill at what the pro patrollers are wearing and you'll see this to be true:

Just go to the hardware store and get a pair of insulated leather gloves, the give 'em a real good covering of Snow Seal (warm them so the stuff gets into the pores). You'll have spent less than $30 and your gloves will be as good or better than any pair of $100 gloves. As an added bonus, when they wear out, they're cheap to replace.

If you want the best gloves on the market for the best price, Cabelas has some leather, lined GoreTex gloves for $35-55 that are fantastic. I use them on the coldest and wettest days and i absolutely love them! Ihave never found a better glove for ANY PRICE. And again, they're cheap to replace.

Outdoorspro: I always wondered about why everyone was using those glove... they work that well, huh?

4 years ago I bought a $85 pair of Burton gloves that sucked... always cold and then when I'd finally warm up after a long tree run, I'd sweat in them and have cold/wet hands for the rest of the day. One day I forgot my gloves and picked up a pair of cheap Dakine gloves at the mountain for $12 I think... and I still use them, 2 years later. I'll probably buy the same pair again this year or go the leather route.

Just got a pair of OR cold weather gloves. We'll see how well they work. Kind of like these:

$35... so we'll see.

They (the Cabelas) work better than any glove i've ever used, no matter the price. They make standard-sized gloves and long gloves like the OR ones pictured above.

BTW, OR makes quality stuff. For that price, i'd be very interested in a review fater they've been used for a bit.
