| Good Pants. Alright, its time for some new pants again and I was wondering if any of you monkies have some suggestions. I would like a somewhat high MM, like around 20-30 thousand and perferably not way to expensive.
Thanks.

| Best pants I have ever owned were Volcoms. 2 seasons and no leaking. I'd still be wearing them if they fit.
Worst I have every owned are my current Burton Ronin pants. Leak city. |

| Jeenyus,
Have you checked with your coach about getting sponsors? I would think that you could get some kind of deal for you and/or your team.
As for pants, I have always ridden the Big "B". I have done the regular Burtons and the Ronins. I am guessing the Ronin pants listed above were low end. The high end stuff works well. I have been getting the Burton Cargo pants for the last few years.
How long do you expect a pair of pants to last? My Burtons never make it past one season, but I don't think that any pair would. |

Besides that, no hook ups. It might be a little hard to get a sponser out here considering how small and out of the way our mountain is...
As for how long I want the pants to last...As long as possible. It would be nice to get 2 or 3 years out of them. I mean I got 4 years out of my last pair(even though the last few were a bit wet...). Pants are not something I want to be buying every year.

| The Ronin's I have are the 04/05 Cargo model, not low end, but not the extreme high end either. They performed adequately on really cold days, but I was getting soaked during the spring whenever I sat down to strap in. I wound up strapping in standing most of the time because of it. |

They do not, however, last more than a year for me (usually with at least 80 days on snow) so they may not be your best bet Jeenyus. |
