I went to he Masterfit University in Tahoe a few weeks ago to learn some basic stuff about custom bootfitting. I thnk it would be really cool to have a shop that specializes in bootfitting, or atleast have somebody in the shop that knows what they're doing. LOL, now I'm the "custom bootfitter" for our shop. Sad. I highly recomend custom footbeds though, whether you have problems with your feet or not. Insta-Print is the best, but not all shops carry it. We carry Superfeet.

If it's the one toy you buy this year, go for em. Your feet will love you for it. Whether I will always have custom fit boots I don't know, but I will ALWAYS have custom foot beds...

I have been in custom boots for about 10 years now. The difference is really noticable. You do have to be prepared to spend about 1/2 a day doing it though. At the very least spring for custom footbeds.
