Wow that's a pricey jacket.

Cool idea though. Spyder has some newer stuff that seems modeled after Arc'teryx or something similar. And my Arc'teryx gear has been indestructable. Love it.

So you're all over that Spyder jacket once it's on sale for $1100 or so?

No, I hear you. I got my Arc'teryx gear for 50% off. (and it was still expensive.) And some new Mountain Hardwear pants about a week ago for 75% off.

Ha ha ha NO! lol I don't have that kind of money to spend on a jacket. I picked up some Scott stuff for 50% off since my old Jacket and pants didn't fit. Seems to be pretty decent gear.

Best thing about the mountaineering type gear (Arc-Teryx, Mountain Hardwear, Marmot, Patagucci, North Face, etc.) is that it'll be bomber for years.

My first North Face shell lasted me from '91-'98 and when I ripped it on a tree branch they replaced it when I asked for it to be repaired. The second shell I currently still have.

You couldn't be more wrong. R.E.D. helmet company and Anon goggle company are both owned by Burton, and they most definitely have a strong roster of skiers riding for the R.E.D. and Anon teams, such as TJ Schiller, Michelle Parker, and Eric Pollard.
