eastern freeride

I was wondering if there is such a thing as an eastern big mountain comp. Like maybe a glades competition with cliff hucks and such. And if so, where and when? and also give me as much detail as you can about it.

There are a couple quasi-comps @ Jay. They have a Powder 8 gig in February. They used to have a stop on the IFSA tour there, but I don't think they do it any more. I wish there were more though, I'd certainly be game. I can't do the park and pipe stuff, so I just freeride on me own.

I love freeriding, especially on the east coast.There are some spots as u know but also wish there sere some comps to get into. A good place that is highly underrated is at Whiteface Mountain NY. When they get snow(if they get snow) I ride the slides. Double Black steep cliffs, what more can u ask for. THey just need the snow.

I've been eyeing the slides for years now but haven't been able to hit 'em when they are open.

There was one other comp I thought of and that is the Triple Crown at MRG. Vertical Challenge, Unconvential Terrain, and Mogul Comp.

sick stuff. I think I'll be game for most of the MRG stuff. and also the castlerock challenge at sugarbush.
