So, right now I'm on vacation and hitting the various resorts around SLC (staying in town). So far I've been a bit underwhelmed by the difficulty of the resorts I've been to (Snowbasin, Solitude, and the Canyons). I'm going to be at Alta and Snowbird for the next couple of days and I'm really hoping to challenge myself.
So, about me. I've been skiing for 15ish years and I'm up for almost anything. Tight steep trees, steep chutes, almost anything....short of drops over 3-5 feet

(I'm working on those).
So my question is...where should I go looking for challenging runs at Alta/Snowbird. I'm not asking for local stashes hidden in the trees or anything like that, just general areas of the mountain I should check out to find some really challenging runs.
Any help you could give me would be very much appreciated and I'll be sure to put up a trip report with pics
