Late Skiing In CO

What's about the latest you can ski before the conditions start to deteriorate out there? I wanna make it out once this winter but I'm not sure when I'll have the chance. I know Keystone closes the 13th of april but I didn't know if the skiing is already pretty crappy because of the warm weather by like the 6th or something.

Skiing should be great late season CO. We've gotten a ton of snow and it should be great. Hell we'll probably have great BC stuff till well into the summer.

April can be a bit of a crapshoot as far as the surface conditions of the snow. We could have corn, refrozen corn, ice, or even cold smoke. Coverage should be NO problem this year well into late April, though.

Oh - and you don't want to ski at Keystone. Go to Copper if you must ski in Summit County.

Lol what do you mean no Keystone? That was like my favorite out of the ones I've skied out there! Copper was pretty good too though. Vail was nice but expensive, and I didn't really care for Breckenridge. MJ/WP was pretty good too. Just my northern Wisconsin opinion though lol...

What about Montana, we're on a limited budget and are thinking about driving out there because it's closer, the hotels are cheaper, andI hear the skiing is almost as nice, with less people. What's out there besides Big Sky that's nice?

Moonlight and Bridger are excellent too.

This is somewhere before I die that I have to make it to, anywhere in the state is fine with me. I was roomies with a girl from CO when I lived out west and she told me some crazy stories about the slopes. Too bad I didnt live there long enough to make it to visit her home state. I really want to visit Wolf Creek since I have heard a good bit about it, is this still a cool spot?

What kind of skiing do you like to do? I'll make a recommendation based on what you like to ski...

Wolf Creek is a great spot. It's a small time ske area so none of the big resort bull**** or crowds. There is some really great terrain there.
