Yeah. (I'm actually the middle hiker in the picture.) It was pretty thin at the base, but we hiked up to the top of Wildcat and did a few laps where it was blown in about 2ft deep, and then skied back down to the bottom. Not bad considering how little snow there is. Everyone else I was with hit rocks - they couldn't resist hitting shots that were steeper and rockier - I played it safe, used my fattest rock skis and stuck to areas I was pretty confident were just grass underneath and looked deep and smooth. Pretty low angle stuff, but it was still fun for the first day of the season.

Nice that was kinda what my first day was like had to be real careful of the rocks.
