You have a new Community Manager! =)

Hey there everyone. I just wanted to poke my head into your forum and introduce myself.


So, hi! I'm justgroovy. =) (aka Shelly)


I have recently been added to Slope Monkey as a community manager by the powers-that-be at Crowd Gather. Pretty much I'll be acting as a liaison between your community and the good folks at the home office. Feel free to contact me (either pm or email, through my profile link) ... I am open to any and all suggestions regarding Slope Monkey.


If everything here is exactly like you want it to be, then great! It really does seem like this is a fun and interesting community already. I definitely don't want to fix something that doesn't need fixing, but I would like to hear from you if you think something could use a little tweaking or if you have thoughts on how we can get more people to join your community.

This forum used to be fun, but it is full of yawn now.

I told other crowdgather people some things that might help already. Did they share my comments with you?

The snowflakes are not very far away. This place needs some winter flavor before then, or all hope is lost.

I hear TGR is a good winter site.

I have checked in, just didn't reply sorry about that. I am about to move from upstate NY to California and am running around like a nut trying to get last minute things done for the drive.

Yes my boss at crowdgather mentioned that she had a list of suggestions from you and that she is going over them. I have made some myself and hopefully soon they will being to implement some changes.

Did slopemonkey ever have a logo other than the plain text at the top of the page? Current logo is plain plain plain.

Ahhh, thanks for the link ... i love love love the upside down monkey face ... do you mind if i grab it and use it? I am a fontaholic so I just want to try some others that may work as well.

I'm not sure why the format for this site is so blah, but it needs sprucing up for sure.

You may want to check out the site that this site spawned out of: Ridemonkey. There you will learn what inspired that logo.

hmm ok, maybe i can create something similar then =)

I'm just about done with my cross country driving trip (posting from Winnemucca, NV atm) so I will start working on something and post it in this thread in just a day or so.
