Snowdome, Tamworth, UK

This is the first place that I ever went skiiing. It was Europe's first ever indoor real snow ski slope and is pretty decent in a limited way. The slope is small and the bunny slope is just a little bit towards the bottom that has a barrier to stop people going down it, and it is more shallow (so without the barrier you could fall over the drop).

The price is huge-and it shocked us all that the place came to Tamworth because the locals were never likely to be able to afford it. However it gave me my start and that was nice.

It's worth a look for the novelty.
