What is Xc Skiing?

Is it skatin skiing or really BackCountry skiing?

it's skatin skiing you have to do all the work not gravity.

Ok, BC skiing is more like snowshoes for me, so I consideratethat you do all the work ... sometime with a little gravity even more fun!
