A happy 6 year old! Part 1

Not so much a trip report, but it has pictures and some story. We ski in the Mountain Dew vertical Challenge race very year. It's free and is put on for people to have fun. There are lots of raffle prizes and a bunch of classes so it seems like a lot of people are getting medals.

My oldest son has race in this 4 times, beginning when he was 3. It is basically the same course every year. Well, this year he won the 6 and under male skiers division by a little over 3 seconds. With that he was able to go to Loon Mountain for the Championships. Actually I think anyone can show up at Loon that day, but the top 3 from every class were invited.

Here are his race times for the past 4 years.

3 years old - 66.17
4 years old - 41.87
5 years old - 40.33
6 years old - 29.79

Before the race at Mount Snow. Kids like shiny painted trucks.

Checking the final results at Mount Snow.

Close up of the final results, my 4 year old was also 6th.
