So in Powder Country, we entered from the Hidden Lake lodge and then you traverse across a big flat area, cross the road, traverse along a ridgetop and then choose your line to drop in. How good was the snow? I think it requires video evidence to make it clear. So here is a quick video of me ripping Powder Country. Sweet, huh?

When you get to the bottom of Powder Country, you come out on the road and have to wait for a bus to pick you up and take you back to the resort. It's time consuming, but the pow pow is so worth it. So we did that a couple of times and then we went for a cat ride too. Here is a video of my buddy Rick scoring untouched powder at 3pm on Lightning Ridge. Amazing.

So when we got back to the hotel, the rest of the crew was out cold, so Rick, Andy and I went to McGrath's for a seafood dinner. Those guys ordered fish and I got a whole Dungeness Crab (as pictured on their website) that was crawling around in a tank when we got there. While we were waiting for dinner, I went and checked the tank and sure enough, there were only three crabs left where there used to be four. Nice. It took a while, but I ate the whole funking thing. And even though I offered for them to share, they claimed to be stuffed and waited patiently while I fought my way through it. Bottom line was the food was good, but service left something to be desired. At least they kept our beers full while we waited and waited for dinner. When we got back to the hotel after dinner, there was just enough time for a quick dip in the hot tub before bed. They were predicting a heavy snowfall for tomorrow, so we wanted plenty of sleep so we would be well rested for the next day's adventures.

Jeezus - tell your buddy to quit leaning back. His thighs will thank him.

Looks like a nice run.
