Ride Report: Tyrol Basin Spring Jam 2007

Well, to be honest, this isn't much of a ride report from me. On Saturday, I went to Tyrol Basin's Spring Jam in lovely Mount Horeb, WI.

When I got there an hour before the lifts opened, the parking lots were already filling up. They had busted down the pipe and built the park up huge. Rails that had not been out all season were out this day, as were tons of sponsored and talented riders.

After a few runs I realized that I was seriously out of my demographic. The really didn't have any easy features set up and while I wasn't the oldest guy out there, but I was certainly in the top 5%.

At this point I decided that I would have more fun playing photographer, so I got out my camera and started shooting and drinking as well. I shot about 500 pictures (and some video too) of some very awesome folks that I didn't know. Here are 30 of my favorite photos. There are lots more but I had to draw the line somewhere. Believe me, it was tough cutting these down to size.

this guy is one of the few there that was older than me (60+). He is a local, and is way better than me too.
