I probably would've gone out and skied in those conditions. It really sounded quite sweet. Unlike Ripcord, who actually *lives* there.

The way he thumbed his nose at Ullr last week in the NE, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets rained on in BC.

that's why i said stay out of mott unless it's good snow. it really isn't even slightly fun w/ bumps. and it's not worth the risk.

heavenly is only good if you're willing to to venture off the map. then it's actually really good. the level of the average rider at the mtn is pretty low.... so areas you have to hike to stay well preserved.

kirkwood is a far superior mtn. they literally get twice as much snow out there. my ride report of round top is right near kirkwood. and you'll pass H20 house on your way there. both those places have enough snow.

edit:
of course the mtn is busy.... all the mtns are going to be busy this week. almost every high school kid in the world has this week off from school.
including england... so you'll see huge groups of bratty english kids too out and about.

yeah, i'm glad i didn't venture into mott yesterday. i kind of wish that heavenly would groom some of the steeper runs so they aren't all moguls. the groomers were surprisingly fun but i kept having to dodge all of the slow people who like to take up the entire trail.

i scoped them out from the lift, but i didn't venture in because the coverage didn't look too great like most of the other tree runs. i didn't want to take the risk of running into a ton of rocks and stumps and all that. they also put the north bowl lift on wind hold for a good chunk of the day.

olympic is an awesome run, it just was super crowded so i couldn't go too fast.

just a warning.... when storms come in (like now). lifts go on windhold.
if the gondola isn't running then you should take a shuttle over to stagecoach and NOT the california side. so tomorrow... if it is snowing all day and stuff is on windhold. go to stagecoach and ride 'scorpion' trees or something.

You are probably right. But Ullr has been especially cruel to me. Waited until he knew I couldn't take any time off to dump snow. What have I done so wrong?
