well tomorrow should be better if tahoe gets snow like everyone is saying.

kirkwood today was just plain awesome. got a guide for the day through ski school and hit some really awesome stuff. it was nice to ride with someone who pushed me to hit some new and bigger things. hit a bunch of small cliffs and also did the "ski school" chute off the top over by the sentinel bowl. i'm definitely going back at the very least on friday.

ride kirkwood as much as you can. it is the awesome. although you should make an effort to get to squaw too. especially once it snows.

naw, kirkwood is closer and probably less crowded. not to mention there is still so much more to hit there. i have my eye on a few larger cliff lines that i would like to hit with some more snow.

These aren't Public Enemy type "cliffs," are they?

You should check out Squaw. That's where the *serious* meat hucking takes place - The Palisades.

well yeah, but from what i have heard the coverage at squaw isn't all that good. if you have never been to kirkwood before you wouldn't even know that this season has been mediocre so far compared to years past. there is also the fact that those cliffs are too big for me right now. i prefer my underwear to not be brown and smelly.

well not only did the small ones look like cliffs and not just boulders with snow on them, but i stomped one that was in the 8-10 foot range. that's my ego stroking for the day...

I can believe that. This year has been quite abysmal from all accounts.

Nothing like a little required change of drawers for fun.

Nice. So they *were* PE-style "cliffs."
