RR in SLC

we went to alta today. i am not a very good skier and my inner texan was showing prominently. my b4s were very popular at alta. saw tons of them including a set ridden by a 140 pound girl. i got in way over my head on the first run. started to get a good feel for skiing by the end of the day. oh yeah... pow all day long. hitting solitude or brighton tomorrow... on my snowboard.

i hate you. i was kind of let down by heavenly today. the groomers were fun and fast, but super crowded. basically all of the expert stuff was really bumped out, windblown, icy, and just did not have enough snow as i put a couple decent sized scratches in my base. hopefully kirkwood tomorrow will be better.

True dat...I should have sucked it up last weekend and done a weekend bender to Jay. But Mrs. Ripcord would have killed me since it was our last weekend together. <sigh>
