I'm not used to actually RIDING so much, so no, I missed the sunset because I was asleep before the sun went down, with my belly full of carnitas from Los Mexicanos.

I loved that cliff drop too bad we didn't get it on film.

It was nice to meet you and Ben (after he got back with his boots), and our special surprise guest, Sanjuro.

hey didja all see this?

could be a foot of new pow to play in tomorrow morning.

I am torn for where to go today, since I never heard back from Partsbara, and because I would like to be able to get back to southlake tonight.

Now, I just got to get back to sleep, so I can be well rested for my upcoming adventures. I hope they remain on the slopes and off the roads.

i do enjoy los mexicanos. their milanesa makes my belly happy.
check what lifts are running at the resorts before you head out. probably not worth it going somewhere far if only 1/2 their lifts are running w/ all these winds. these are the worst days. the prestorm windhold days.

oh. and this is what one of the finger chutes looked like last may:

so yeah... our base is pathetic this year.

We are going to Alpine Meadows today. I will be skiing with Trip in the morning and with any luck, playing in the pow this afternoon while he is in ski school.

Amy:
Is the blue2go bus the one that goes to Heavenly?
Just asking because I might go there tomorrow and I just saw one drive by.

Alpine would be fun today...
And Blue go is the public transit in town, it's about 1.50 to ride that. But there's free Heavenly shuttle buses that run between the 4 base lodges and to the major hotels... you could catch that off Ski Run Blvd. Heavenly would be a good choice for tomorrow if the snow comes, I'll be there on my "lunch break" !

Fun riding w/ you yesterday, we'll get the pics up today.
