Glad to hear you've got the goods at Heavenly yesterday and today, a couple peope from the office got out to Stagecoach yesterday (just up from our office) and had a good time.

I was just out at the Kirkwood after a meeting there today... good stuff to be had!

Getting ready for a quick BC trip w/ Amy and some others up h20 house shortly before it gets dark, I guess winter's back - fun day today!

I told you conditions were excellent. Great to hear you got some. Plus you get to keep your jobs too.

I'm taking the boy up to Squaw today, AM lesson and freedom for me. Then we ski together in the afternoon. Maybe a dip in the high camp pool as well.

I have no pow expectations, which is just fine, since I got my fill over the last 2 days.

I found myself happily mistaken at Squaw Valley. Golly is Squaw the best place on earth, or what?

I showed up and got the boy registered for ski school, and he was out on the hill even before I got my jacket zipped up. I went over to Red Dog for a quick run and I was surprised to see this:

Not untracked, but definitely some untouched. And this days after the storm.

Next, I headed over to Granite Chief which truly delievered the goods.

Here is a pic of the view from the top:

...but I don't have any of the pow pow, because as you all say, I was having too much fun to stop for a photo.

I learned that Granite had been closed the day before due to high winds. It was kind of like they had been saving that pow pow for me

The other fun thing that happened while I was up there was that I saw a dude accidentally drop a cliff he was ok, but the look on his face was priceless.

I stayed until the last possible minute and then went to go spring the boy from ski school.

after a few runs, we traversed our way over to High Camp for a dip in the spa.

Trip thought it was wild to be swimming at the top of the mountain, surrounded by snow.
I thought it was awesome. The beer never tasted better.
