Exclamation RR in Tahoe

It looks like the weather will be nice in SF, so the current plan is to spend the say there on Saturday and drive to Tahoe in the evening.

On Sunday, I would love to go to Kirkwood, but I will probably bring my son and put him in ski school there. You can call me and we can meet up when you get there. I'll PM you my number. And I would be happy to pop for fries, or better yet, beers.

I had come up with clever comments for the stink, but I am way too busy getting ready to go. Maybe I'll get to it while loitering at the airport.

If any other Tahoe monkeys wanna join us on Sunday that would be cool.

I will be in Town through Friday... likely going to Squaw on Friday. Other days remain to be determined, but I can go anywhere Monday through Thursday. Hit me up if ya wanna ride.

Oh and Tuesday might be a powder day. So that might be the day to ride.

Sweet. Any tips for where we should go? Keeping in mind that I have an (almost) 5 year old in tow.

I was thinking it would be warmer here on Sunday... Hopefully it'll still be warm enough and not bomb proof ice and we'll all meet up. And yeah, It looks like a storm is rolling in early next week with a high of 34 on tues. Damn, there goes our early spring.

Don't fret. Even though it is supposed to be below freezing on Saturday Night, NOAA says it is supposed to reach a high of 44 at Kirkwood on Sunday.

Sorry about bringing a storm into town. I just hate it when it snows. FWIW, this one looks bigger than the one that came through last week.

Our kids (5,3,&1.5 at the time) loved the trolley ride. Walking around the pier area was fairly kid friendly as well - especially where the sea lions are. The Presidio is a nice place to wander about as well.

Yeah. the kids would probably love the sea lions on the pier.

Also, Golden Gate park is a really nice place for a picnic. It's a cozy place to hang out near the water... there's an old windmill and stuff and nice rose gardens, etc...

Everything on the pier is, I think, uniformly mediocre. I'm not much help there. Maybe hit up Chinatown?
