TR 2/16 Mt Spokane

Went to Mt Spokane with Noah, my 6 y/o, yesterday. A school holiday for the kids, not the teachers, gave us the opportunity to take advantage of one of the most beautiful days. I have to admit, I love bright sunny spring ski days almost as much as powder days. Especially when I'm with the boy. I need to get him in a lesson or two before the year is out to break him out of the snow plow, but I may not be able to keep up with him then. he is getting faster, and learned how to tuck the cat track yesterday! Here's some pics, followed by a couple of videos.

Chair One. The sky could not have been more blue. And yes, there were fresh tracks, but the snow that fell the day before would've been rain if it were any wetter, and then froze overnight. We stayed on the groomed.

Looking back off one of the chairs to the valley. This shot is into Idaho, with Spirit Lake in the background. You can see 9 different lakes from the summit.

And finally a couple of videos of Noah skiing. The one where we are both moving cracks me up because he turns around to try to tell me a joke and is not watching where he is going!
