TR: H2O House 2/18/07


A storm rolled in yesterday, so me and the mr decided to go check out how much new snow h2o house received. i do belive it is the best powder i have found so far this season.

just outside of south lake.
it holds it's snow amazingly well there.

and what's nice is that it's a straight hike/skin up from the road. whereas w/ roundtop we had a relatively flat hike in for 2 miles before the climb.

Is it controlled or do you guys have to take along all the avy gear?

It is by far the safest bc area around, but it is not controlled, so you have to carry all the necessary gear.
