chinese buffet always sounds good until you have your belly filled with it.

the best part of long bc day trips are the big dinners afterwards for sure. oh, besides the lovely turns on the way down.

best part of the hike:

we get to the top. it's just the 3 of us up there snacking away. and who comes hiking up from the other side of the mountain (the summer route), but 3 german tourists. they don't even look winded. just shoeing up with pink snowpants, a white turtle neck, and silly hats. no gear rescue gear with them.... nothing. just them and their snacks and their bad ass outfits.
felt a bit surreal.

tallac is no easy hike. i'm a bit suprised that they would come on vacation and decide to snowshoe up and down it.

thats funny... germans and their twisted outfits... we saw some unreal stuff while over there... god germans are strange... amy, they probabally weren t winded or tired since they were conditioned to the alps... alot of the stuff out on the german / austrian border makes tahoe look like pimples...
