Hello, advice needed


Okay some of you may know me from ridemonkey but this time i need advice on snowboarding gear is am wanting to start the sport but i need to know what i should i use what brands are the best what size board do i need and so on all suggestions will be very helpful

We also need shoe size, height, weight, etc. But even if you tell us all that, you probably won't find our suggestions that helpful.

So what kind of terrain do they have in the UK anyhow?
I heard it was all indoor or plastic covered hills.

A couple of my stats Shoe size uk 12, US 13
height 6ft 1
weight 195 pounds

propaply looking for a all mountain/freeride board and yes there isn't much in the way of place to rind in the uk but we are bang next door to france and the rst europe so its not to bad.

Dude, if your just getting started the best thing you can do for yourself is go to a board shop, not a sports mart kinda place, but a board shop in a ski town. Get yourself fitted for boots, have them show you boards. Stand over some boards to find the right width.

You don't want to use message boards for advice on your first set-up, it's not like bikes.
