Its awesome, you go either up the top lift at north on top of FIS and hike to the left along the ridge, and drop in between the mountains. Super steep stuff. During a point of it you follow a river bed thing thats almost like the natural half-pipes you'd find out west. I would recomend doing it with at least 2-3 other people though because your way out there and if you got in trouble it would be a lot of hiking to get out/over to either other mountain.
You can also go up the lift on top of gatehouse at south, and cut all the way right off the lift. When you go down the trail to the way right(as your coming off the lift) youll see a cut of woods that leads off the left of the mountain I heard you can also do, thogh I've never tried it.
Either way you come out down on German Flats road, and the shuttle between North/South will pick you up and bring you up to either of the bases. I would definetly try it, especially after a good dump if you dont want people/tracks.
