| Well you ain't gonna have any luck in England that's for sure. That is, unless you do a snowdome. What part of the world you thinking about hitting? I see a lot of Brits at Whistler; short flight, awesome terrain, and probably pretty cheap on the exchange. |

Fly into Calgary and you have Lake Louise, Sunshine Village, Nakiska and Mount Norquay all within a 2 hour drive, and then you have Fernie, Kicking Horse in Golden and Marmot Basin in Jasper within a 3 1/2 hour drive. Not to mention Island Lake Lodge in Fernie if you're looking for more backcountry/cat skiing type stuff. Check out the websites, and while I'm a little biased because this is where I live Banff, Lake Louise and Fernie are all worth the visit especially if it's a good snow year |

My favorite trail at the Bush is Rumble though, love the double fall line turns, rock drops and tight trail...mmmmmmmm |

The plan was to go there last season but when you have to drive right past Lake Louise to get there, and it's about another hour to drive it's easier to just stop and ride at the Lake unless you're going for the whole weekend (damn am I spoiled ). But check it out... http://www.kickinghorseresort.com/winter/home.asp
 ...approx. 4000' vert and 60% (yes, 6-0) of the trails are black or double black. Plus, they run the lifts in the summer for bikes too.
I think the construction is pretty much finished. KH used to be a little local hill called Whitetooth that was only open thurs-sun, which pretty much guaranteed powder days every thursday because it was unskied for 3 days a week. Plus no one ventrued there except the locals and people that were in the know. Obviously that's changed, but it's still a hill that's a little further out of the way so I don't think it gets the crowds that the Banff hills and Whistler get. |
