Skied for most of my youth, tried a snowboard around '86/'87 and have never put on a pair of skis since. Rode an old Sims for several years, and then sold it to a collector on eBay a few years ago (that should tell you how old it was! He gave me like $300 for it!).

Hadn't been on a board for about 12-14 years but am just getting back into it. Picked up a K2 Satellite 158 Wide with Ride bindings. My wife was cool enough to set me up with some DC boots a while back.

Can't wait to get out this winter! I'm a mellow dude on the slopes...just kinda like to cruise, hit some powder, etc....totally different than on my bike

Boomer, I didn't know that you liked to Snowboard?! Lets try to get to the slopes when the snow hits!

hi all. i'm Toshi on RM as well, and my name actually is that. go figure. anyway, i am a long time skier but i gave snowboarding a shot (so that the girl i was chasing and i would be falling down at the same pace ). this season she's faster, not to mention that i bought a set of Rossi oversize GS skis at the end of the season, so it's back to skiing for me.

I live in washington and ride all the local mountains here as much as I can when that white stuff starts to fall.
