I wonder if he'll get a bright red tight aspen suit?

I saw this guy from the lift at Heavenly once...oh my god...it was NEON PINK...it was horrific...blinding...it was refelcting off the snow! Suppose that's what I get for going to Heavenly...

Great Mike, I plan on skiing alot up at snowshoe this winter also. I bought a condo in Expedation Station in the village. You probably saw it under construction when you were there last weekend for mayhem. I'm oldskoolbiker from RM BTW.

Skiing will be lots of fun once you get beyond the beginner level. It may be a littel frustrating at first with all the falls and long lift lines at the beginner slopes.

I've never taken any lessons, but I've taught a couple of people how to ski. Let me suggest the first two things to learn, is how to fall down, and how to stand back up.

Once you advance enough the fun will be on par with Downhill mountain biking.

Oh yeah, since you are completely new, one other thing which is an absolute must. Buy the right clothes. I suggest going to a ski shop like Ski Chalet in the DC area. The last thing you want when trying to learn to ski is freezing you butt off. BTW if you live in the DC area Ski Chalet is having their annual pre season blowout of last years stuff this weekend. Here is the linek for info
