Newb's suck

Ok so I am a Newbe. Don't kill me. I have been a part of a lot of orums and I am sarting this one out different. not a lot of people have posted here so I theink this could be a good thread. Ne way I am an 8th gernation Florida boy. I have been riding/racing jet skii's since i was 12 and anyhting to do with water I am all about. Just this month I took a trip to vancouver B.C. with a buddy of mine and we went to a few mountains including Whistler. ( iam sure anyone who knows skiing/snowboarding know what i am taling about. Needless to say i am HOOKED. I have been a wakeboarder for a long time and I thought Snowboarding would be easier, but damn you guys are awesome. I spent two days snow boarding in whistler. I never hit a "bunny" slope it was all green trail's for me. I rented the gear and got straight on the lifts. Big Mistake, I hurt for at least 12 days. WOW you can haul ASS! I would get going so fast I would get scared and dive. I think some lessons might be in ordr next time but SNOWBOARDING ROCKS! I will be searching these forums for help. I am buying equiptment and this will be a new found hobby. I am 6'3" 210 lbs wear a size 12 us and am looking for a board around 166cm right now if you have equptment let me know I may buy it. Any pointers are more than appreciated.

I know a lot of really good wakeboarders who are also really good snowboarders. just remember, take it one step at a time. Don't step straight up to double blacks after you master the greens. If you get hurt, you'll get turned off snowboarding.

thats awesome! i was on the bunny hills for two years snowboarding. you really wanna get good first or else youl hurt yourself. i started when i was young, actually i still am but anyways, its a good idea to start with an instructor so u can really get good. then after that, u can be one of those awesome boarders who shred down the MT!!!!!!!!!!!! YEA!!
